About Us
HOw this all came about....
Hello, my name is Colleen Michael I have been happily married to my husband Paul for 19 years and we have two amazing daughters, Molly who is 16 and Julia who is 14. I cannot begin to put into words how much fun I have had exploring books with my girls over these last 16 years. We are big readers, and we absolutely love going on all sorts of adventures through books. Being around books is comforting to me. When I look at books on a shelf, it's like looking at old friends. I think about the characters in the book and the journeys they took me on. For over a decade I dreamt about owning my own bookstore. I always imagined I would have my own little Brick and Mortar bookstore, but well that was always way too expensive. Then during all my down time through Covid, it occurred to me that if food trucks can be mobile restaurants, then why can't I have a mobile retail bookstore. Long story short the seed was planted, and our journey began...

This is my amazing, and very talented husband Paul. Paul may not have a list of book recommendations, as that just isn't his thing but he has still been a major part of our little business. Paul has been the craftsman behind the conversion of changing this little bus into a bookstore. Paul has been a big supporter of my 10 year long dream of owning my own bookstore. Ever since I came up with the mobile bookstore idea our little family has been all in. Since the minute we decided to give it a shot and together we have been able to make it happen. Paul has been the engineer and craftsman of the store, Julia has been our awesome graphic designer and Molly has been our book logger and organizer. I have to say all together we make a pretty good team. I cant wait for you to see our store and enjoy our books along with us.

The Running Dream

Realistic Fiction
This book is about a girl who loves to run but when she gets into a tragic accident her dreams of running are gone. She doesn't think she can ever walk again let alone run miles. This is a page turning book that you will not want to put down. I have read this book multiple times and enjoyed it every time. I would give this book 5 stars and totally recommend to anyone!!
Divergent by Veronica Roth
Dystopian
In this dystopian book about a girl name Tris. Tris is trying to save her world as she knows it. but is struggling with keeping her identity a secret, as she meets knew people and navigates new ground. Tris doesn't know who to trust especially after being betrayed but the one person she thought she could. This is an action packed romance book that I just couldn't put down. I have read the whole series and each book had an amazing plot twist that I didn't see coming. This is a YA book I would recommend to anyone who likes the genre.

- This is such an amazing book! It really changes my perspective on people. I immediately fell in love with the characters and their journeys.
- The Inheritance Games
by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
This book is all about clues and puzzles. It constantly had me on the edge of my seat, always keeping me thinking about the next puzzle. I absolutely love Avery and the Boys relationships and how all of them are their own selves.

Below is a list of my current recommendations. At this time, I am currently reading a few books. I am re-reading, The Book Thief by Markus Zusak with our summer read-a-long program. I am also reading, The Alice Network by Kate Quin. I already know I love The Book Thief. I however am also really enjoying, The Alice Network.

- The Storyteller by Jodi Picoult
- As you all probably know by now, I love historical fiction. The Storyteller is one of the first books I read by Jodi Picoult and as most of her readers I too fell in love with her writing. I love her amazing ability to build charcters that you instantly get attached too and I also love how she usually has a fun twist that you never see coming. This all holds true with, The Storyteller. if you love historical fiction and you are a character reader like me then you will love this book.
- This is Where I Leave You by Jonathan Tropper
- This is a really fun read so I thought it would be perfect for summer. If you like family drama, then this is a great book for you. the question I am asking you is, could you spend 7 days in one house with your whole family?? That is what Judd has to do when his father passes unexpectedly. Secrets get exposed, and grudges resurface all while the most unexpected turns of events take place. This is a great summer book. I hope you enjoy it!
